Provided front-line technology support and training for both teachers and students at a private K-8 Apple Distinguished school in Lost Gatos, CA.  Managed iPad and Mac deployment and policies using JAMF, Apple DEP and VPP systems.  Incorporated an online help-desk platform (www.mytechdesk.org) in resolving and archiving support tickets in an efficient workflow.  Developed www.myipadfix.com to aid in independent iPad troubleshooting on campus.

Hendricks Percussion Studio: Private Percussion Teacher

Teach private percussion lessons to students of all ages, primarily K-8th grade.  Focus is on rhythm, counting and technique.  Teach snare drum, auxiliary percussion, mallets and drumset.

Kiwanis Summer Music Camp: Percussion Instructor

Instruct small groups and large percussion ensemble for the summer music camp sponsored by Kiwanis, Cambrian Park.  Work with students age 9-14, with skills of all levels.  Focus is on general exposure to and deeper understanding of rhythm, percussion instruments and ensemble playing.

Edited training videos for online resource library. Set up and monitored live video streaming for both small-scale and large-scale events. Provided consultation and appropriate equipment for specific audio/visual needs. Helped customers at Genentech leverage technology during meetings and events so they could collaborate at the highest level possible.

Apple: Creative
April, ​2008 - April, 2013

 

Designed and implemented staff training workshops on Apple software to 

new employees. Administered developmental workshops to Creative team members on adult learning styles and training techniques. Taught personal training sessions to OnetoOne members on Apple hardware and software and consistently received positive feedback and promoters. Organized in-store youth events, including field trips and an annual two-week summer day
camp. Created custom-designed password cards for customers to keep track of OnetoOne member information.

 

Apple: User Acceptance Tester

October, 2010 - April, 2013

 

Worked with Apple Retail QA, IS&T and Development teams to test the usability of software systems and create a solid UI. Found errors in software builds to improve copy and workflow for each stage of development. Efficiently completed assigned tasks and reported error tickets using SPOT

and Radar QA management systems. Created updated version of Mobile Runner documentation for internal use.

 

Brandeis Hillel Day School: Educational Technology Intern

Assisted and collaborated with the technology director in creating lessons and activities with effective technology integration. Helped establish an iPad pilot for sixth grade students, which eventually expanded school wide. Worked with students in grades K-8 on computer-based projects, focusing on what it means to have digital literacy in today’s dynamic environment.
